Hi Pam! We have a great selection of blends specifically for kids. Two blends that come to mind, are our Bee Happy and Calm ’Em Down blends. These are great to be diffused or inhaled directly from the bottle when your child is getting ornery: http://www.edensgarden.com/collections/ok-for-kids

Hi! My 5 year old is very active and always wants someone to play with him. He cannot soothe himself and if you tell him that you need to do anything besides what he wants it is a huge meltdown. He is very lovey and wants to be near someone for security. When this happens the rest of the family gets stressed out as well. What essential oil would help this? A de-stresser? Also, do I just put this in a diffuser? Do I need to add any other oil to dilute?

    Thanks so much!

Hi Kelly! Because 100% pure essential oils are so potent, we don’t recommend using essential oils on or around children under 2 years old, as they are much more sensitive to essential oils and other concentrated substances.

Hi Melissa! Any carrier oil can be used to dilute the essential oil. Each carrier oil has slightly different properties (some absorb quicker, some are more moisturizing), so it is really up to the customer’s own preference.

First time oil user here… How do you decide which carrier oil to use? I want to try rubbing Lavender on my son’s feet and jaw for teeth grinding, but I can’t decide which carrier I have to dilute it with. Or for any of the oil Blends that I purchased…How do I know which one to dilute it with??? Help! Thank you!!!
