The constituents of an oil affect its aroma as well as how it can help us in a blend. Our Red Mandarin essential oil, is cultivated and produced in Italy whereas the Tangerine (which goes by the same Latin name) we supply is grown and cold pressed here in the USA. Tangerine has about 90% of the component d-Limonene while Red Mandarin carries about 70%. Other Red Mandarin constituents include gamma-Terpenine whereas Tangerine contains a few percentages of Myrcene.
