Hi,

I have a dog who’s nose is always dry and cracking. I have tried putting Mushers Friend on it (like a chapstick substance) but it doesn’t really seem to heal. I then tried almond oil with some drop of peppermint and lavender in it (I use it for my feet) and then put the Mushers Friend on after.

I am wondering if that is the right combination of EO’s or is there something better for cracked dog noses?

Thanks
Deirdra

Hi Irma! There are soft water filters which you can install in your home, but we also recommend avoiding shampoos with harsh ingredients like sulfates. You might also try our natural hair shampoo http://bit.ly/2CUATWI

Is your grapefruit oil therapeutic grade? Can I add it to water to drink for weight loss?

Hi Sarah! We’d recommend 100 drops of oil in 300 mls of water, and combine that with 1 Tbsp of grain alcohol to preserve and disperse the oils.

Hi there,
If your oils are 100% pure, why do you recommend to not use them internally?
I’ve been thinking about switching to your product, but one thing I love about my current oil brand is that internal use is recommended for certain oils.
Thanks,
Jen

Hi Maureen! We don’t recommend using oils on/ around children under two years old. If you wish to use oils with children under 2, we recommend working with your child’s pediatrician and an aromatherapist who can provide safe guidelines that meet your child’s specific needs.

A safer sleep blend for children would be Sound Asleep or Sleepy Head OK For Kids blends. They are safe for kids 2+ and are best diffused or applied topically at 1%

1%= 6 drops of essential oil per 2 tbsp of carrier oil

I have a disabled daughter that has trouble sleeping and I am raising my granddaughters. The 20 month old still does not sleep through the night, so I am up 2-3 times a night with either of both of them and have trouble going back to sleep. My sister sent me some Good Night EO and told me to dilute it 1:3 and put in on everyone’s feet. Is it safe to use that way for the 20 month old?

Does EG has any recommendations for pet? We recently moved to a new place
, and my dog got fleas from the other dogs around. Instead of giving him flea medication, any EO recipe can help with flea?

I would like to make a roll on vetiver/carrier oil for use on the bottoms of my feet at night for sleep and anxiety. Is there a “recipe” for amount of vetiver to carrier to put in the roll on?

To Donna: Doterra doesn’t show their customers their testing. All talk and no show, but Edens Garden is very transparent about their testing thankfully

Edens Garden

January 22, 2018

Hi Donna! We third party test all of our oils, and these reports are available on each of our single oils product pages under “Reports.”

Donna

January 20, 2018

Doterra uses a 3rd party testing on its oils to show the purity of their oils. What do you have that is available for us to see that your oils are as pure?

I have asthma which is under control with preventative medication. However, I would like to know which oils would ease my airways and relax me, either in a diffuser or to apply to my chest when I am having an episode. Many thanks.

Hi Morgan! Try removing the food from the pantry and spraying it with a deodorizing spray. To make a deodorizing spray, combine 4 oz distilled water, 2 tsp grain alcohol and 40- 50 drops of the oils of your choice (Aroma Fresh, Cleaning, Citrus Cream, Purify, etc.) in a glass spray bottle. Shake well to combine

Hi Kimberly! We generally recommend a 3% dilution rate. This equals to 6 drops of Immunity in 2 tsp of Coconut oil

Hi Simmons Deborah, we don’t recommend casual internal use. In fact, to receive an aromatherapy certification, many times internal use is not taught as this is only reserved for severe illness and medical issues. With that said, we suggest working with an aromatherapist if you wish to learn more about using EOs internally.

Jessica Mager

Is shipping always free or is this only during the holidays?

Simmons Deborah

December 10, 2017

I meed a better answer to the internal question. I understand you can not make health claims, but I need to know which of your oils are safe to be used internally assuming no meical issues and cleared by a physician. For example, wild orange, lemon, peppermint and can I use internally as I do with doterra oils?

Stacey

December 04, 2017

I want to reask LaShea’s question. Are your oils SAFE to to take internally? I know some aren’t but oils such as Lemon, Lime, etc., are they safe if suggested by a trained aromatherapist?

Edens Garden

December 01, 2017

Hi LaShea! We don’t suggest internal use without consulting a doctor and aromatherapist who can provide you with safe guidelines that meets your individual needs
