5 Essential Oils for Allergies

5 Essential Oils for Allergies

The sneezing, watery eyes, and rashes that come with allergies are no fun at all! But we’ve got you covered with 5 great essential oils to ease allergy symptoms and breakouts. We’ve also included each oil's “bonus” effects. Some oils ease allergies while promoting rest, some calm nerves, some lighten moods, or ease headaches. Pick the one that’s right for you.

1. Cajeput
With a Tea-tree like aroma, Cajeput will relieve skin allergy breakouts. Add 5 drops to a diffuser or personal inhaler, or apply a few drops with a carrier oil like Coconut or Jojoba to skin allergy breakouts.
Bonus: It will also help ease cold symptoms or aching muscles.

2. Helichrysum- Italicum
With a slightly-sweet, musky, and vegetative aroma, this oil will ease general allergies as well as rashes and hives associated with them. Diffuse, place in a personal inhaler or mix with a carrier oil and apply to skin. Use 5-6 drops in any case.
Bonus: It can also help ease achy muscles, coughs, dermatitis, eczema, hives, and psoriasis.

3. Nerolina
Its floral and slightly woody aroma can help ease congestion, allergies and cold symptoms, while relaxing and calming. Add 5 drops to a personal inhaler or diffuser.
Bonus: It can help with sleeplessness, as well as ease cramps, sore muscles, and congestion.

4. Roman Chamomile
A sweet and slightly fruity aroma that has hints of herbs. This oil can ease allergy symptoms and also relaxes and calms. Add 5 drops to a personal inhaler or diffuser.
Bonus: Eases migraines, sleeplessness, asthma, and anxiety.

5. Lavender
With an herbaceous, sweet, floral and fresh aroma, Lavender is the go-to oil for most things, including easing allergies. Add 5 drops to a personal inhaler or diffuser, or mix with a carrier oil to apply to skin topically.
Bonus: Eases headaches, aches, and colds. Also, when applied topically, can help with acne.

Hi Barb! Your doctor would be able to tell you what the source of your hives and allergic reaction is. We highly recommend seeking medical attention for this issue.

Does anybody have the recipe for hay fever/allergies using Lavender, Lemon and Peppermint? It was in the old brochure sent out with products prior to the new one. I just need to know how many drops of each! Thank you.

Just wanted to let customers know how over the top Eden Customer Services is: had a problem with receiving my product just before the holidays and they were so accommodating and ensured I received my product. Thanks and totally using my products and enjoying my new journey.

Merci Tori…
