Giving Tuesday: 10% of ALL Sales Go to Local Family
At Edens Garden, giving is an essential part of our central mission. Since our founding in 2009, we have given a portion of our sales to various causes. To celebrate Giving Tuesday, we are giving directly to a local family in need of support, donating 10% of our total day sales to the Floyd family.
On July 30, 2016, Brian Floyd was involved in a devastating dirt bike accident which left him in a coma for nearly three weeks. When he finally became conscious, Brian’s traumatic brain injury left his motor skills severely impaired. Brian has undergone months of rehabilitation for his injuries and his progress is beginning to improve. In October, Brian finally returned to his Sun City home but continues to undergo extensive therapy.
Because of the extent of his injuries, Brian can no longer work and his wife, Stephanie, stays home to help her husband. The couple has two young sons, Kelly and Kasen. Neither Brian nor Stephanie can sustain an income at this time, making medical bills and cost of living expenses all the more taxing. Next year, Brain will start a program for his brain injuries to hopefully improve his recovery.
From Stephanie Floyd: “We appreciate all the kind words, support, and love we have received throughout this experience. We definitely would not be able to do this alone.”
Remember 10% of your entire purchase will go to helping the Floyd family reach their goal.
