Hi Tammy! This is not a typo. We recommend adding grain alcohol because it preserves the product and emulsifies the EOs in water.

Hi Leslie! We recommend going the with diffuser manufacturer’s suggestion of how many drops to add to your diffuser. Essential oils should always be diluted prior to topical use in order to avoid skin sensitization and irritation. A 3% dilution rate is generally recommended for adults.

3%= 15-18 drops of EO per 2 Tbsp carrier oil

Hi, when using a diffuser, do you recommend a certain amount of drops or ratios of oil in the purified water?
Also are there certain oils you can put directly on skin, do you have list of those? For example, you recommend inhaling a few drops of the anxiety blend. Can the drops be put directly on your hands to inhale? Just wanting clarify, I appreciate your help.
