Can you mix German Chamomile essential oil and Peppermint?
  • Peppermint essent ail oil is well known for its analgesic properties and cooling abilities. German Chamomile has an ability to calm muscle spasm. The combination of Peppermint essential oil and German chamomile therefore would be an ideal combination to add to a massage oil blend for achy and tired muscles.
Does German Chamomile essential oil stain clothes?
  • Due to its naturally occurring dark blue color and when applying this dark blue oil to the skin, it is advised to make sure the product has been absorbed completely before covering the area with clothing. Blue oils will stain clothing. We also do not recommend using this or any other oil neat on the skin as essential oils are very concentrated and are rarely needed in this form. If you do happen to get some of these oils on clothing, we recommend immediately dabbing the spot with a combination of 1 T. castille soap diluted with water and a few drops of Lemon essential oil until the stain has disappeared.

NIGHT TIME BLEND: Add to a personal inhaler and inhale as needed: 5 drops of Chamomile (German), 2 drops of Vetiver and 5 drops of Cedarwood (Atlas). Or add 5-6 drops of this blend to your diffuser and diffuse for 15-30 minutes before bedtime to wind down.


LINEN SPRAY: Add to a 4 ounce spray bottle the following: 5 drops of Chamomile (German), 5 drops of Cedarwood (Atlas), 5 drops of Vetiver and 5 drops of Sandalwood with 2 ounces of Lavender hydrosol and 2 ounces of Ylang Ylang hydrosol. Shake well; mist over bedding before sleep. Note: 1 week Shelf life


RELAX: Add to a personal inhaler and inhale as needed: 5 drops of Chamomile (German), 5 drops of Bergamot and 5 drops of Ylang Ylang. Or add 5-6 drops of this blend to your diffuser and diffuse for 30-60 minutes.


MASSAGE BLEND: In a 2 ounce squeeze bottle add: 8 drops of Chamomile (German), 4 drops of Cypress, 2 drops of Grapefruit and 6 drops of Helichrysum, then fill with Jojoba oil. Apply to any areas needing attention and massage. (1.7% dilution)
