Although historical records don’t account for the exact moment Lavender’s many uses were discovered, it’s believed to have been cultivated in Arabia around 600 B.C. Lavender’s native range now extends across the Canary Islands, North and East Africa, Southern Europe and the Mediterranean and into certain regions of the Middle East and India.
Edens Garden Lavender is grown at high elevation and is also referred to as Bulgarian Lavender. The highest quality Lavender grows at altitudes above 2,000 feet. Lavender is an evergreen plant that grows to about 3 feet and produces gorgeous lilac-colored flowers. To extract the oil, the flowers are put through a steam distillation process. Lavender is an essential oil that you will not want to live without. Diluted to 10% in Fractionated Coconut Oil.

Most often, Edens Garden Lavender roll-on blended with Fractionated Coconut oil is used to promote sleep, allowing the user to fall asleep, stay asleep and wake 8 hours later feeling well rested. Used topically for skincare it can assist with blemishes, irritation, redness and a skin condition called eczema. Its soothing aroma also makes it a great natural stress reliever. What’s more, Lavender is ideally blended into massage oil as well as for hair growth, headaches and even insect bites.
- Lavender roll-on oil works best if used in synergy alongside other repellent essential oils. For example, studies have shown Nootka Tree, Catnip and Peppermint oil have an affinity for repelling insects. With Lavender roll-on oil added to the mix, these essential oils can also protect the skin. - There are several ways to use Lavender oil. To calm the mind from stress: 1.) Roll it onto the palms of the hands, cup hands over the nose and breath in deeply 4-5 times. 2.) Dab it onto any minor cuts, scrapes, blemishes and acne or roll it topically onto irritated skin conditions or to relieve bug bites.
