Description

Discover the invigorating power of Edens Garden's Black Pepper essential oil, a versatile elixir that not only enhances your essential oil formulas and massage oils but also energizes your senses. This unique essential oil hails from the tropical shrubs of India, known for their clusters of small white flowers and berries that transition from green to orange to red as they ripen.

But the story of Black Pepper goes beyond its extraction. Its rich history spans centuries, from the wars fought over its cultivation to its use in Ayurvedic therapies as seeds pastes, poultices, and liniments. Even the ancient Greeks and Romans recognized its benefits, using Black Pepper to enhance athletic performance and maintain healthy skin.

Incorporating Black Pepper essential oil into your daily routine is simple yet impactful. Diffuse it in your living spaces to stimulate clarity and focus, or mix it with carrier oil for a warming massage that soothes overworked muscles. Doesn't make me sneeze :)

Silly me, I was hesitant to try black pepper essential oil because I had a little worry that it might induce sneezing like ground black pepper....it doesn't. Black pepper essential oil has a delightful unique aroma that is reminiscent of peppercorns, yet has hints of woodsy and an almost citrus-clove-like undertone. The aroma is much more pleasant than I could have imagined. It is a wonderful addition to salves, lotions, and massage oil for its warmth, analgesic, anti-inflammatory, digestive comfort, and circulation-stimulating properties, this oil is a must-have for me!

Good quality!

Black pepper is a great oil to mix with others! I like to pair it with citrusy smells like orange or bergamot to give them a little zest. I also like to pair it with Eden Gardens Earth and Wood blend. It adds a little extra spice to that blend and makes it even more warming. I do occasionally use the oil by itself for muscle massages or sometimes just to wear alone as well. A great oil to have in your collection that is multipurpose and goes well with other oils!
