The Ancient Greeks planted Sweet Marjoram on grave sites because they believe it would bring peace to the dead. Native to the Mediterranean, Sweet Marjoram is a bushy perennial herb with hairy leaves that is cultivated throughout Europe. The flowering tops and leaves are steam distilled to extract the essential oil.

NIGHT TIME BLEND: Add to a personal inhaler and inhale as needed: 5 drops of Sweet Marjoram, 2 drops of Chamomile (Roman) and 5 drops of Cedarwood (Atlas). Or add 5-6 drops of this blend to your Scent Ball Diffuser and diffuse for 15-30 minutes before bedtime to wind down.
BATH SALTS: Combine 3 drops of Sweet Marjoram, 3 drops of Lavender and 1 drop of Frankincense with 1 tablespoon of Jojoba oil and 1/2 cup of Epsom salts. Stir together and add to a full bath for a relaxing soak.
RELAXING BATH: Add to a 2 ounce squeeze bottle: 5 drops of Sweet Marjoram, 10 drops of Lavender and 5 drops of Sandalwood, then fill with Jojoba oil. Shake well to blend and add 1-2 teaspoons to a full tub. Relax and enjoy. (1.7% dilution)
LINIMENT: Add to a 2 ounce squeeze bottle: 5 drops of Sweet Marjoram, 5 drops of Helichrysum, 2 drops of Lavender and 8 drops of Copaiba then fill with Jojoba oil. Shake to mix well. Apply a small amount of this mixture to sore muscles and massage into the skin. (1.7% dilution)
SPORTS MASSAGE: Add to a 2 ounce squeeze bottle: 8 drops of Sweet Marjoram, 2 drops of Frankincense, 5 drops of Chamomile (Roman) and 5 drops of Rosemary then fill with Jojoba oil. Shake to mix well. Massage into sore muscles. (1.7% dilution)
