Hi Suzan, this recipe roughly converts to 1/4 cup + 1 tsp + 1/2 tsp Cucumber Seed oil, 1 tbsp + 1 tsp Shea Butter, 2 tsp Soy Wax and 1/2 tsp Skin Love.

Could you please convert the amounts to ounces and teaspoons for the next time I make this?

Hi Suzan! To soften your salve you could remelt it and add more carrier oil!

I must have made a mistake. Mine came out solid. What could I add to soften it a little so that I can use it?

Hi Camille! Soy wax and beeswax are relatively similar so the texture and amount should not change.

Hi Kacey! You can alternatively use carnauba wax or candelilla wax.

How will the texture change if I use beeswax? And will the amount change? It’s all I have right now, and can’t seem to find soy wax.

What are the alternatives to use besides soy wax?
