Disappointed

Let me begin this review by saying that I've been a big fan of Edens Garden for several years and have nothing but good things to say about the essential oils I have purchased from them. Unfortunately, however, I am not a fan of this first bar soap purchased less than a week ago. I'm a *huge* patchouli fan and can say I detect almost NO patchouli scent in this Patchouli Bar Soap! I get an oatmeal/glycerin slight-smokiness, but none of what I wanted, which is patchouli scent. I don't know if perhaps I received a bar that was sitting in stock for over a year and thus lost its scent due to the volatile nature of essential oils, or if there was perhaps a mis-formulation in this specific batch. Again, I am a big fan of Edens Garden, but not of my patchouli bar soap order. The only positive thing I can say is that the bar lathers well... but so does a tin of saddle soap, which is akin to this bar's scent.

Non-drying and smells great!

I have been using Edens garden soaps for the last few months, and was very happy when they came out with patchouli, since it's one of my favorite essential oils. The soap has a lasting scent that stays on your skin and lathers well. It has helped my skin
