Description

Experience the invigorating aroma of a fresh brew with Edens Garden's Coffee essential oil. This balanced extraction captures the essence of your favorite morning pick-me-up, filling your space with the comforting scent of freshly brewed coffee. Trust us, there's nothing quite like the magic of coffee on a chilly winter morning, especially when you can enjoy it without brewing a single cup!

Our Coffee essential oil is sourced from evergreen shrubs that thrive in subtropical climates across the globe. These magical plants bloom white fragrant flowers in the wet spring, eventually sprouting small green oblong fruits known as "cherries." As these cherries ripen to a deep red-purple hue, they reveal two seeds within—the coffee beans we all adore. Roasted to perfection, these beans give us the inviting aroma of freshly brewed coffee that our Coffee essential oil encapsulates so beautifully.

Incorporating Coffee essential oil into your everyday routine is as easy as brewing your morning cup. Add a few drops to your diffuser to kickstart your day, blend it with a carrier oil for a warming massage, or include it in your DIY skincare recipes for an antioxidant boost. Just remember to perform a skin patch test before topical use and always dilute with a carrier oil. With the rich aroma and wellness benefits of Coffee essential oil, you'll find yourself reaching for this bottle time and time again!

Frequently Asked Questions
How to make Coffee essential oil?
  • Coffee essential oil is derived from the oil of Coffee beans through a process called cold pressing. A cold press works by pricking the beans, causing the essential oil to be released. The oil and water then drip down into a container and are separated in a centrifuge. While it may not be possible to make Coffee essential oil at home, you can make aromatic hydrosol water that contains many of the same therapeutic benefits as essential oil. Click here for instructions on how to make your own hydrosol.
Does Coffee essential oil have caffeine?
  • According to Robert Tisserand, “Coffee essential oil is a product of the coffee industry generally used in flavoring. One potential safety issue is that it contains a small amount of caffeine (0.5-1.5%). It is such a minute amount of caffient that it equals 2500 times less than from an average cup of coffee…so even those who are hypersensitive to caffeine are not likely to have a problem.” Always test new oils with a skin patch test to rule out allergies and allergic reactions.
Can you put essential oils in coffee?
  • Essential oils are powerful, concentrated substances so a little goes a long way. Two of the most effective ways to use them are by way of inhalation and topical use. Using essential oils internally is rarely necessary or recommended, no matter the brand. Essential oil ingestion can lead to adverse reactions such as medication contraindications, mucous membrane irritation, sensitization and nausea if done incorrectly. Therefore, if you wish to drink essential oils, we strongly recommend first consulting with a knowledgeable professional with experience in internal use.
What is Coffee essential oil used for?
  • Coffee essential oil, Coffea robusta, is a cold pressed oil made from crushing and grinding the beans to extract the oil. This in turn preserves the delicate properties of this extract. It has wellness benefits that range from anti-inflammatory actions to use as a skin care agent. It has a uplifting and robust aroma that can give a mood boost. The Linoleic acid found in coffee oil can rehydrate dry skin, aid mature skin and improve radical damage by regenerating and tightening the tissue.
How to make essential oil coffee scrub?
  • To make a coffee scrub, blend in a bowl: ¼ cup of Jojoba Oil and ¼ cup of Sweet almond carrier oils, ½ cup of sugar. 3 drops Coffee essential oil, 2 drops Cocoa essential oil as well as 3 drops Frankincense and 2 drops Sweet Orange. Stir to mix well. In the shower, make this your last step: with wet skin, scoop out a spoonful of the mixture and gently massage 1 tablespoon at a time over your entire body. Rinse off the scrub and gently blot skin dry to seal in moisture. Avoid getting water in the blend to prevent contamination.

Love At First Use

I had never seen a coffee oil before, so had to try it out. I read things I could use this for and the number one thing I saw was using it for skincare.

It’s VERY thick and took some time to get a drop from the bottle. Holding it at a 45 degree angle and then moving it completely down a few times works best.

I have been using this after washing my face with a few pumps of Kukui Nut carrier oil that I also got from Eden’s Garden (great for keeping wrinkles at bay). My face has evened out (color wise). It does look like I have a light tan after using (doesn’t stain). My husband has even asked if I’m ever going to age and how do I look so young. I told him “it’s the oils!”. The smell is like strong coffee, which I love.

I do also add a drop of Myrtle also from here.

This is my forever skin regimen.

I highly recommend!

Smells good, but not a lot of scent when diffused alone

Wow is this one thick, it took forever to shake out a few drops for the diffuser! Just got it today, diffusing it now. Smells good in the bottle, but can't smell it at all from the diffuser and I'm sitting right next to it.

Amazing &Wonderful

I diffused several drops of coffee essential oil along with Vanilla Oleoresin essential oil. The smell is so wonderful and I felt like I was drinking real coffee. I could blend it with other essential oils, such as, Cinnamon bark, Cardamom or All spice. For topical applications I have added coffee eo with Vanilla Oleoresin eo in fractionated coconut oil and enjoyed it very much. There are umpteen number of ways I can think of using this wonderful product.

Coffee! What more can I say?

Simply gorgeous. I blended it with east Indian sandalwood, peru balsam, cypress and rose Geranium for a gorgeous hair cream that I can't get enough of.
I'd diffuse it more often if it was easier to get out of the bottle as it made the place smell so comforting, I'm going to have to use a pipette lol I'm missing the smell!
Thank you for another beautiful oil
