- Safflower carrier oil is made from the seeds of the Safflower plant, a relative of sunflower which is a thistle-like herbaceous plant native to parts of Asia and Africa. The oil is cold pressed from the seeds to retain the purity of the constituents. The cold pressed method is ideal for using Safflower oil on hydrating dry and problematic skin for issues such as acne, irritation, rashes and inflammation.
