Easy DIY Essential Oil Cologne for Father's Day

June 17, 2015

Father’s Day is almost here and we have a simply awesome DIY Essential Oil Cologne perfect for dad. All you need is our Lime, Fennel, and Patchouli essential oils and 100 Proof Vodka. First test a small batch of the cologne to be sure you like the aroma as much as we do. If you like it, make the full batch below. You can either buy a glass bottle dropper at a craft store or use an old, empty cologne bottle. After the musk is ready, all that’s left to do is wrap it up and add a heartfelt note telling Dad how much you appreciate all the good memories, care and Fatherly advice. Happy Father’s Day.

What you need:

Directions:
1. Mix the oils and Vodka in a glass bottle.
2. Shake well, and let it sit for 48 hours.
3. Then add 2 tablespoons of water and shake well again before use.

Hi Kate! We don’t have any guidelines for substituting fragrance oils for essential oils in this recipe.

Hi Leila! You can substitute vodka with the same amount of witch hazel.
