Best Essential Oils for Summer Self Care
When the summer sun is blazing and routines shift into high gear, it’s more important than ever to prioritize your well-being. Fortunately, nature offers its own toolkit for seasonal support, and essential oils like Spanish Rosemary, Basil, and Spearmint are some of the best for summer self care.[1] Found in our expertly crafted Self Care essential oil blend, these plant-powered allies offer uplifting, clarifying, and cooling benefits to help you feel your best all season long.
Spanish Rosemary Essential Oil: A summer staple thanks to its ability to promote clarity, boost energy, and refresh the mind. Often used in aromatherapy for mental fatigue and focus, this herbaceous oil is ideal for staying sharp during long, sun-soaked days. Its naturally invigorating aroma also makes it a favorite in DIY cooling sprays and scalp treatments. Perfect for combating summer sluggishness.
Basil Essential Oil: With its sweet and spicy aroma, this oil is another powerhouse for summer stress relief and mental rejuvenation. Commonly used to ease tension and support emotional balance, Basil can help regulate mood during busy summer schedules.[2] It’s also known to promote clear breathing, making it a go-to oil for those hot, humid days when the air feels heavy.
Spearmint Essential Oil: Perhaps one of the most refreshing oils for summer, Spearmint offers a gentle yet effective cooling sensation, ideal for hot weather and summer skincare routines. It’s known for boosting mood, reducing mental fatigue, and promoting a cool, invigorated feeling, especially when diffused or added to a cold compress.[3]
Together, these three oils form a trio of powerful summer self-care heroes in our Self Care essential oil blend, helping you stay calm, cool, and collected no matter how high the temperatures—or the stress levels—rise.
