This Or That: Essential Oil Blends for Wellness
Whether you’re trying to tackle seasonal allergies, sniffles and sneezes or fatigue, a working immune system is fundamental to your health. You may turn to over-the-counter meds or something more natural like essential oils.
When looking for healthful essential oil blends to help improve wellness, it may be difficult to navigate between the three that we offer at EG- Fighting Five, Guardian and Immunity. In today’s “This or That,” we look at the differences and similarities between these blends to help you pick the blend that’s right for you. Let’s get started.
Essential Oil Synergy Blends For Wellness
Fighting Five: A warm blend of Lemon, Cinnamon Leaf, Moroccan Rosemary, Clove Bud, Eucalyptus Globulus and Eucalyptus Radiata, diffusing Fighting Five is like enjoying a warm cup of coffee on a cold day. Each oil in this blend encourages the immune system to perk up and work hard to fight off and prevent sickness. With powerful active ingredients like Cinnamon Leaf and Clove Bud, germs and bacteria are sure to stay at bay.
Guardian: Similar to Fighting Five, Guardian is a rich blend of Orange, Clove Bud, Cinnamon Bark, Cinnamon Leaf, Eucalyptus, and Rosemary. With the addition of Orange and a higher content of Clove Bud and Cinnamon oils, Guardian has a denser and more complex aroma than Fighting Five. It works in the same way as Fighting Five, though higher amounts of Clove and Cinnamon lend this blend to be more aggressive at defending your health.
Immunity: An invigorating and citrusy blend of Sweet Orange essential oil, Lemon, Eucalyptus, Moroccan Rosemary, Tea Tree and Frankincense, Immunity is here to defend and protect your health. With oils of Tea Tree and Frankincense, Immunity provides anti-microbial, anti-viral and soothing properties that make this blend a top choice for everyday wellness and health. Immunity also has a more neutral, earthy aroma unlike Fighting Five and Guardian which have more oriental aromas.

How do I use any of those immunity/wellness products?
Hi Gaila! You can learn more about our stance on ingestion here: https://www.edensgarden.com/blogs/news/is-it-safe-to-ingest-essential-oils-1
Are your essential oils GRAS? ( generally regarded as safe – for internal use) I am accustomed to using some of my YL oils internally and would like to continue doing so, however, the price of YL oils are just too expensive for me to continue with. Thanks!

I was looking for some essential oils that were more affordable than the oils that I’ve been using (I just can’t afford Frankincense for $70). I decided to try out Guardian and compared it to my DoTerra OnGuard blend that has the same oils, and I literally could not tell a difference! Smelled the same, felt the same on my fingers, etc. I am super impressed with Eden’s Garden’s selection of oils, their prices, and now their quality. I think I’m gonna be switching to Eden’s Garden for the majority of my essential oil needs :)
Hi Meri! Yes, try our Allure synergy blend: https://www.edensgarden.com/products/allure-whisper
Do you have a combo like Young Living Valor?
Hi Ann! Unfortunately, we do not have a blend similar to Release at this time. Though we hope to in the future.
Would you have an oil blend similar to the Young Living oil “Release”? I love it, but not the price! Thank you!

Hi Libby! The best way to use these blends is to inhale them by way of diffusion. Add 10 drops of your wellness blend to 100 ml of water in an essential oil diffuser. You can also use an Essential Oil Inhaler or Mio Mist Diffuser for on-the-go use.
