Frequently Asked Questions
What Is Good Night roll-on used for?
  • Good Night roll-on has a soothing aroma and creates a restful atmosphere at bedtime making it the best sleep essential oil roll-on blend for a restful sleep. This balanced sleep essential oil blend combines Lavender, Sweet Marjoram, Roman Chamomile, Bergamot, Ylang Ylang, Sandalwood, Key Lime, Lime and Vanilla CO2 to help you get the zzz’s you need to fall asleep with ease. Good Night roll-on has a soft, powdery, clean aroma, with an overall impression of Lavender. Sweet, relaxing Ylang Ylang and woody Sandalwood support the aroma to provide complexity and depth. Finally, Good Night roll-on offers hints of refreshing citrus fruits to ensure it’s not overly sweet.
How do you use Good Night roll-on?
  • The most effective ways to use Good Night aromatherapy roll-on for improved sleep quality are with inhalation. 1.) For deep sleep, roll a little of the oil on both palms, cup the hands over the nose and mouth and breathe in the oil deeply 4-5 times to release unwanted tension and to ground yourself. 2.) Apply a small dab just under the nose and roll onto the sternum and massage in gently. 3.) Roll the bottle onto your pulse points at the neck, temples and wrists. If you wake in the middle of the night, repeat any of the steps above being sure to breathe in deeply when using the roll-on for optimal rest.
Is Good Night roll-on safe for babies?
  • Because babies are susceptible to their environment, we do not recommend using Good Night roll-on on or around children under 2 years old. Diluted oils, let alone essential oils in their pure forms can be overwhelming for babies, as their metabolisms are underdeveloped and their sense of smell is very strong. The topical application of Good Night roll-on on your baby is unnecessary and not recommended. Instead, use a gentler cousin of essential oils with babies called hydrosols. Lavender hydrosol, in particular, is the water byproduct of making essential oils and is perfect for babies under the age of 2. Check with your child’s pediatrician before using essential oils.
Is Good Night roll-on safe for cats & dogs?
  • Good Night roll-on is not recommended for topical application on your pets. If you do use essential oils around your pets, make sure there is proper ventilation and that your pet has the ability to leave the room if desired. If in doubt, ask a vet with aromatherapy experience for safety guidelines for your pet, or avoid essential oil use around your pet altogether. For further pet safety guidelines, we recommend picking a copy of Kristen Leigh Bell’s book Holistic Aromatherapy for Animals or joining an animal aromatherapy Facebook group.
