Edens Garden - choosing your essential oil scent

Everyone has that one scent they just can’t get enough of. The one that brings back memories from days long past, or that entices your senses. Your signature scent may be bottled as a perfume, found in the garden, or even in your laundry detergent box. And as most of you probably concur, some of the best scents on earth can be found outdoors. One reason we love essential oils is that they bring the wonderful aromas of nature directly to us!

We wanted to take a moment out of your day to ask, have you found your signature scent yet? With 127 single oils, 39 Synergy blends, and counting, Edens Garden offers something for everyone! So why not find that scent you can call your own today?

Don't have a favorite essential oil aroma yet? Here are some of our staff’s favorite picks:

Single Oils

"Wild Orange is one of my favorite essential oils. You can clean with it or diffuse it to cheer up your day. It is so nice when you add it to a floral like Geranium; it is like a drop of sunshine!" -Chelsea, Customer Service

"Lavender was always one of my favorite aromas but when I was introduced to pure French Lavender essential oil, I fell in love. There is something extra special about its complex floral notes. It’s the oil I end up using the most. I use it in blends, skin treatments, cleaning and it’s amazing to simply diffuse on its own… makes the house smell like heaven." -Erin, General Manager

"If I had to choose one it would probably come down to White Fir. Last year when we were picking new oils to carry I knew we had to carry that oil. It has such a bright and rounded fir/pine aroma, and every time I smell it I'm taken back to summers spent camping in the woods. It works great for me when I need a calming or stress relieving oil. I also use it in some muscle relieving blends because it has some anti-inflammatory properties" -Sara, Certified Aromatherapist

Synergy Blends

"Purify blend is my go-to when I am expecting guests; it makes my home smell fresh and clean! It also works wonders on mildew-y towels, just add a drop or two to the wash." -Chelsea, Customer Service

"I am passionate about our Sunshine Spice blend! It’s unique and my favorite blend to diffuse before having company over. It’s energizing and uplifting which makes it great to set the tone before a get-together. It’s also a great blend to add to an unscented lotion." -Erin, General Manager

"My favorite blend is hands down Sweet Ambiance. I love the citrus notes, and the Peru Balsam gives it almost a Vanilla aroma to it. It has a lot of uplifting qualities in it, so it is a great alternative for me when I need a blend to help me wake up or be more excited about a task. I diffuse it everywhere, wear it as a perfume, and recommend it to everyone!" -Sara, Certified Aromatherapist

Clary sage! I have no memories related to this smell (except for the many I’ve since created, hehe), but it invites me in to feel a supreme sense of peace and upliftment. I love it.

I love Joy! I diffuse it at least once every day. I use it as perfume and put it in everything! It’s a wonderful, uplifting scent. My all time favorite from the beginning and I havent tired of it. Second favorite: sunshine spice!

Lemongrass is my all-time favorite. I LOVE to have it blended into massage oil for an amazingly uplifting but relaxing massage. I never liked Lavender but since stating my Essential Oil education, it is growing on me and I find myself REALLY loving the bedtime linen spray I made with Lavender. <3

Ylang ylang is the fragrance I have had as a special memories fragrance for decades, but I didn’t know what it was. I have been trying to find that scent that I remember since I was a child and ylang ylang is it! It fills me with wonderful memories and is also sensuous and intriguing at the same time. I am so glad I rediscovered it! Someone in my family must have had lotion or a fragrance that I experienced 5 decades ago that got lodged in my good memories bank. Enjoying it now!
