When I founded Edens Garden, I knew I wanted to create a company that meant something. After almost a decade of working in the natural industry, I saw that there was a need for an essential oil company that had a genuine concern for customers and offered affordable products without compromising on quality.
While traveling the world, working at companies committed to holistic products and learning everything I could about essential oils, it became clear that a new kind of natural business was necessary. My dream was to build a business that valued people over profit and dealt honestly while offering direct access to the many benefits of essential oils.
Years ago, while on a mission trip in New Zealand, I would take walks through the countryside to enjoy the beauty of God’s creation. I remember sitting on a hill as the sun glistened in the sky and suddenly realizing how enriching nature can be. My soul felt quieted and soothed in a place that was so untouched by man. Incredibly pure, clean, and fresh, I later learned that essential oils offer that same refreshing and captivating experience found in nature. More people deserve that calm in their daily lives. The medicinal and healing qualities of essential oils are a reminder that God gave us most everything we need for wholeness and health on this earth.
In 2009, the natural industry was still growing. Essential oils were an unearthed gem that few had access to. I took a risk and started Edens Garden in my husband’s parents’ tiny garage with the mission of making essential oils accessible to everyone. I utilized everything I had learned about the natural industry and did not rest until I could find the highest quality oils available. I knew that even if it cost us, our customers’ needs would always come first.
After years of innovation, a fresh wave of talented staff and new ideas, Edens Garden blossomed into something that really mattered. People gravitated towards Edens Garden’s transparency, quality and big selection of oils. We grew out of positive experiences and a belief that our reputation is everything. Our oils are now enjoyed worldwide.
Today, when I’m not taking care of my four children, traveling for meetings or enjoying time with my husband, I sit with my fantastic employees to dream up new ways of making Edens Garden special and valuable to our customers. Sourced from around the globe, Edens Garden essential oils are 100% pure with nothing ever added and nothing taken away. I can’t thank our customers enough for believing in our brand and dreaming a little with us.

I absolutely believe it is a blessing to give. It is about offering a touch of humanity, no matter the size of the gesture. For the gift that EG has been to me and my family, I hope it is a blessing beyond measure to many more.

We offer GC/MS testing reports on every lot of essential oil that comes through our doors. We want to offer products that have amazing ingredients that you won’t ever have to question. Transparency leads to trust, and trust is of the utmost importance.
Align yourself.
From formulators and chemists to seasoned aromatherapists and safety experts, we’ve had the honor of working with industry pioneers. They have helped because they care about the industry fiercely. They, like us, know that passion has no price.
It’s a small world.
Essential oils unify the world. Each country has its unique soil and climate that allows it to thrive. We need each other to supply the world with each unique essential oil, and that brings the world together in a beautiful, simple way.
No glass ceiling here!
We never set out with the intention of being a majority woman-operated company, it just happened. We have a mission in mind and there is nothing that can stop us. We work with passion and intention towards an end goal.

After starting Edens Garden, my husband and I had four children within a few years. When it rains, it pours. It was a similar road for Edens Garden. In the span of a few years, millions of people were reached with the good news of essential oils. We have forged our own path, encountering rain and sunshine along the way. But the rain is great when you learn to enjoy it.
It’s in the details.
We tweak, we edit. Each blend is different and has its own inception story. But how do we envision the final product? The details might bore you, but our passion for the end product will always remain.
Passion is key!
I love building a brand, not just selling a product. Even with tremendous growth, we are still a family-owned and operated company. We are passionate about all things Edens Garden and have fun doing it!

Hi Martie! All of our oil batches are GC/MS tested to ensure no synthetics, pesticides, glyphosate, additives or carriers are present and that each oil is 100% pure. You can find these tests on the individual product pages of oils.

I am so glad that you provided a back story on the company. I’ve been a customer for several years and can’t function without them. If I feel a headache coming on, I grab my peppermint oil and the cooling sensation does the trick before ever needed any medicine. If my home needs refreshing, or mood needs an uplift, I always add a few drops of lemon, lime, hope or purify to a cotton ball for an instant mood booster. I LOVE the products and everything the company stands for. Keep up the great work ladies!!
