Re-Introducing The Charcoal Bloom Diffuser

It's the Bloom Diffuser you know and love, but with a new top. In other words, experiencing the Bloom Diffuser now is like reconnecting with an old friend who now has a new hairdo. But whether or not you agree with your friend’s new bangs, you’re sure to love the improved look of the Bloom Diffuser.

Design

The Bloom Diffuser features a natural ceramic base, wooden lid, rope wick and gorgeously crafted ceramic succulent top. It’s earthy, natural and minimalistic design fits nicely into any interior. What’s not minimalistic about this diffuser, however, is its ability to fill your space with the pure, potent aroma of your favorite essential oils without the use of heat, water or electricity.

How it Works

Because the Bloom Diffuser works through the natural ability of porous ceramic to diffuse essential oils, this diffuser is classified as a “passive diffuser” which is a great option for sensitive individuals, including pregnant women, elderly adults, children and pets. What’s more, passive diffusers allow you to diffuse for longer periods of time, unlike active diffusers.

How to Use Your Bloom Diffuser

Using your Bloom Diffuser is also a breeze! Here are a few of our favorite ways to use the Bloom Diffuser, based on desired aroma strength output:

Light Aroma Strength: Add 10-15 drops of your favorite essential oil to the top of the Bloom Diffuser. Then add 10-15 drops of the essential oil to the rope wick.

Moderate Aroma Strength: Fill the ceramic base of your Bloom Diffuser halfway with a carrier oil and add 50 drops of essential oil. For easy cleaning, fill a shot glass with carrier oil and 50 drops of essential oil. In both cases, ensure the wick soaks up the oil.

Strong Aroma Strength: Add 10-15 drops to the top of your Bloom Diffuser. Then, remove the cap and dropper from the 5 ml bottle of essential oil and place it in the diffuser. Dip the wick into the bottle of oil and replace the top.

How to Clean Your Bloom Diffuser

When you want to switch the aroma in your Bloom Diffuser, remove any remaining oil from the base and fill it with a 1:1 solution of water and alcohol. Remove the wick and top and soak it in a 1:1 solution of water and alcohol. Let sit overnight before disposing of the water and alcohol solution, allowing all pieces to air dry.

If any aroma remains, apply rubbing alcohol to a paper towel or cloth and wipe the inside and top of the diffuser. Allow to air dry.

The outside of the diffuser and wooden lid should be dusted and wiped down with a clean, dry cloth.

Which Blend Will You Diffuse First?

Choosing the first essential oil you’re going to diffuse in your new diffuser is like picking the first movie you’re going to watch on a new TV. The decision is easy for some and impossible for others. In case you can’t decide which oil to diffuse first, here are our top picks based on aroma.

  • Clean & Fresh: Aroma Fresh, Cleaning, Purify, Eucalyptus Cardamom, Exhale

  • Floral: Spring Garden, Quiet Time, Meditation, Tangerine Jasmine, Balance

  • Fruity & Uplifting: Beach House, Citrus Cream, Simply Citrus, Shine, Grapefruit Pink Pepper

  • Earthy: Cedarwood Spruce, Earth & Wood, Tobacco Patchouli, Geranium Juniper Berry, Fearless

  • Warm & Spicy: Guardian, Hope, Sunshine Spice, Bliss, XOXO

Happy diffusing!

Hi Glenda! We don’t offer replacement wicks at this time, unfortunately. Our apologies for any inconvenience!

can I get two new wicks for the bloom diffuser?
I could maybe go to the craft store and get something just not sure what.
I added Fractionated coconut oil hoping to stretch my cinnamon bark oil and it seems to have stopped working, it was working good before the fractionated oil.

Hi Lindsey! We recommend Fractionated Coconut or Jojoba oil.

What carrier oil do you recommend using in the bloom diffuser or does it matter? Thanks for any info!

I will have to try these methods because I have mine in a very small space, the toilet room in my master bath and I can barely smell it unless I stick my nose on it. Kinda disappointed. I love the look of it, but I had hoped I wouldn’t have to add more drops to the top every day.

I have the original, but need a new wick. Do you sell just the wick?
