During development, our experts explored how people perceive and describe floral aromas, crafting each blend to evoke the essence of its namesake bloom. While these blends are thoughtfully designed to reflect floral character, aroma is subjective, and they may not precisely match the aroma of the actual flower.
How do you use In Bloom blends?
Our In Bloom blends are beautifully versatile and can be enjoyed in a variety of ways. Here are a few of our favorite uses: Perfume: Combine 10 drops of an In Bloom blend and 10 ml of carrier oil in a 10 ml roll-on. Apply to pulse points. Bath Oil: Combine 6 drops of an In Bloom blend with 1 oz of carrier oil. Add to running bath water and soak in the goodness. Body Oil: Combine 24 drops of an In Bloom blend in Edens Garden’s 2 oz Unscented Body Oil. Apply after showering as a moisturizer. Room Spray: In a 4-oz glass spray bottle, combine 30 drops of an In Bloom blend with 1 oz of 190-proof alcohol. Let sit for a few hours, then add 3 oz of distilled water. Shake and spray.
How to Use

Apply Topically: Our Single Essential Oils and Synergy Blends are 100% pure and undiluted. To apply to the skin, dilute with a high-quality Carrier Oil. See our dilution chart here. We recommend performing a skin patch test when using a new essential oil topically.

Different than expected

If you are used to other Lotus oils this may surprise you. I’m trying to find one like I purchased years ago from a lady from Australia. Unfortunately she bottled it herself and I lost contact. Once people smelled it they wanted it. I’m just hanging on to the bottle sadly and the scent memories.
Anyways I’ve also tried Blue Lotus from various aromatherapists with no luck. EG’s Pink Lotus I hoped would hit the mark but sadly no.
But it’s still a Very Good fragrance. But not earthy undertones as sometimes Blue Lotus can hint at but definitely floral and very sweet. So if a fan of sweet fragrances this will be a bit different along those other floral lines. And a good stand alone.

My husband & I are big fans of flowers like Gardenia, Jasmine, Honey suckle, and Orange Blossom. You might say we are “flower scent connoisseurs”. :)
We have never smelled a Lotus flower before (or if we ever have we didn’t know it!). I recently won Eden’s Garden’s entire “In Bloom” set and we have been enjoying discovering each of these expertly-created blends! Eden’s Garden has pretty much nailed each scent of the ones we are most familiar with. Lotus, being new to us, we didn’t know what to expect, but woah were we blown away! We think this may be our new favorite! I plan to make a roller bottle of it for oil perfume. I would say it’s similar to those white aromatic flowers I listed above, but with deep sultry low notes. It’s smooth as opposed to sharp. It’s definitely perfect for perfume or cologne. If you have taste anything like my husband and I you should definitely try it!

Lotus is DIVINE!!!

I had no idea what Lotus would smell like but felt very drawn to it. Oh my Heavens- it is just perfection!! It is not too sweet- so difficult to describe. I have worn it every day since received!!! Now I want all the “bloom” series!! Thank you EG!
