This or That: Blends for Sleep

March 28, 2017

It can be difficult choosing between Sandalwoods and Roses, but what about choosing between Edens Garden’s synergy blends? At EG, we offer multiple blends that target a singular issue because we understand that EOs affect people uniquely. One person might dislike the aroma of Rose oil but find that it does wonders for their skin, and another person may love the aroma of Lavender but wish to explore other oils for skincare.

Let's examine Good Night and Sleep Ease synergy blends.

Good Night is a balanced blend of florals, herbs and woods, whereas Sleep Ease is complexly and almost completely floral. The oils included balance each other wonderfully giving each blend a distinct and memorable aroma. Good Night has a light, sweet and crisp aroma, with an overall impression of Lavender. Sleep Ease is powdery, gentle and cool, and gives you a feeling of walking through a rose garden.

The main reason you are probably researching EO blends that help with sleep is because you simply want sleep. In which case, aroma may not matter but the blend that works best does. The good news is, both Good Night and Sleep Ease have been expertly formulated to help you get the best sleep possible. Each oil, when blended using EG’s proprietary formula, may benefit the user with effective sedative properties. Try one, or both, knowing that each blend contains 100% pure, top quality essential oils that will keep you on the road to a healthy lifestyle.

Hi Monica! For safety reasons we don’t recommend using essential oils on or around children under two years old. Sleep Ease is safe for children 2+ but Good Night is not because it contains Peru Balsam. We also offer sleep blends specifically for children 2+.

I got this and a variety of other blends to help my husband. However, sometimes our 16 month old sleeps in the same room. Are these blends safe to diffuse around a child of this age?

You mentioned that if camphor wasn’t listed on the bottle, it wasn’t in the blend. Does that mean that you’ve started including ingredient lists on the 5ml bottles? I got oils that had ingredients at one point, and bottles that didn’t at another. Just making sure that ALL your bottles in ALL sizes list ingredients on all blends (at least) – the most recent oils I purchased were singles and I was sad that there was not any descriptive text on them like you used to have before the label redesign!
