Frequently Asked Questions
How to mix essential oils for skin?
  • We always recommend diluting essential oil blends into carrier oils and in the case of this oil it is no different. Because the skin on your face is more sensitive than the rest of your body, a 1-2% dilution is highly suggested. This translates into using 6-12 drops maximum in a carrier oil Try diluting Face Love for your skin care with Argan oil, Rosehip Seed Oil or Jojoba or a combination of all three carriers! This blend is excellent for mature skin, aging skin, oily or dry skin. Always test essential oils with a skin patch test to rule out sensitive skin issues.
Are essential oils bad for skin?
  • Some essential oils are considered hot oils such as clove and nutmeg. These oils if used in larger quantities in blends can be irritating to the skin. Other oils that become old and oxidized can cause skin sensitivities. Oxidization happens when the oils are exposed to air. Citrus, Pine and Fir oils can oxidize easily and we recommended keeping oils stored away from the sun in dark, cool places with the caps on.
What essential oils are good for skin?
  • There are a number of oils that love healing the skin no matter what your skin type. Some oils can fortify the skin and heal scars, some are great for reducing bacterial load on the surface of skin, such as the case with Tea Tree and Lavender for acne. When we look at the ingredients in Skin Love, Sandalwood, Frankincense resin oil and floral oils of Lavender, Helichrysum, Chamomile and Rose combine to help your skin brighten, tone and glow.
What essential oils are in Skin Love blend?

We have accomplished this by combining certain essential oils that have a knack for normalizing oily skin or dry skin, clearing blemishes, reducing scars, relieving inflammation and reducing skin irritants and microbes that can lead to acne.
