Beach Bag Essentials + Summertime EOs

A day at the beach can be the best… if you’re properly prepared. Planning a vacation to the coast or the lake? There are a few things that are essential to bring in order to make your beach day a great one. As Southern Californians, the staff at EG are all seasoned beach goers. Together, we’ve compiled a few of our favorite beach bag essentials.

The Essentials

  • Beach tote
  • Sunscreen
  • Water
  • Sunglasses with UV protection
  • Snacks or cash for the snack shack
  • SPF Lip balm
  • Sun hat
  • Sandals
  • Bathing suit
  • Towel, beach chair or both
  • Umbrella
  • EG Body Oils

The Essential Oils

  • Tea Tree, Elemi, Geranium and Rosemary: These four EOs make an appearance in our DIY texturizing sea salt spray. If you’re not one for swimming, this spray will fool anyone into thinking you’ve just taken a dunk in the ocean
  • Repel roll-on: Not every beach has bugs, but for those that do, take along Repel roll-on to keep the pests at bay
  • Lavender and Peppermint: Replenish moisture to the skin using these two oils in our DIY after sun spray
  • Tranquility: To increase relaxation and calm at the beach, inhale Tranquility synergy blend in a personal inhaler or add to your diffuser jewelry
